10% of the diabetic population is plagued with Type 1 Diabetes. Much of this population uses an insulin pump to manage their condition. An insulin pump is a small device, the size of a pager, where a cannula is used to inject insulin into the skin. Type 1 diabetics use their insulin pump to deliver insulin during mealtime to manage their blood glucose. As someone who has lived with an insulin pump, I recall some of the struggles I faced while getting dressed. I took this opportunity to explore some solutions by creating a fashion collection.
